It's All Good

to me this is about someone who up and left the people around them by moving away or just distancing themselves emotionaly because they couldn't handle the pressure or attention of people loving/wanting them. because this person "went away" it really borthered and confused the singer because he thought there was something there emotionaly and it affected his life because this person ment more then they probably could ever even know to him.

You can tell its about his mother these lines are definately point in that direction. "Well I can't understand just why you went away...Too young to feel the pain and bitterness of lov." and "Well I can't understand just why you went away...I sat and waited for the day you'd come back home." Also "You are my hope, my god, my love, my fear, my gun." sounds like a mother to me.

i'm pretty sure it's not about his mother..i think it's about a girlfriend or something. well i don't know. i didn't think scooters mother did any drugs, BUT who knows? yeeahh cold has always been my favourite band. a couple yrs ago i stopped listening to them for like a yr because i started to listen to different bands. well i listened to them a little but not a whole lot. now i started listenin to them again a lot. i love cold a lot like none other wow

In my own opinion, I think this song is one of the two songs on the album that are about his father leaving his family and him when he was young. The other song being Sick of Man. Sick of Man took the perspective of the actual event of his father leaving quite a long time ago, where as It's All Good is a view point on the matter several years afterwards. He's reflecting on his childhood throughts, and found that his feelings have changed. He's found himself feeling less affected that he once had seemed, in the end, everything would go on to turn out fine, hense the song tittle. I think the drug references maybe indicate that his father was possibly a drug addictict in his recollection. Just my thoughts.

this song represents to me a point in your life when your ready to let go. and life ceases to matter and you no longer become fickle over things..its all good

Oh, the things we feel when the one we love just doesn't know what to do. They make rash dicisions and do not think about how those dicisions will effect other people. The presence of this person can make us feel accepted and loved. But when that person leaves us for reasons that seem trivial, it tears us apart. If we only knew that love would hurt so so bad... Sometimes I wonder if I knew what would happen before I jumpped into it, would I still have done it. Yes, and I guessing that Scooter would to. The things we think of when we are all alone. Though we can be resentful, we still wish for them back.
