Lucky 13 Lyrics
the same blood
i suppose
breaking jars
i'm no good
as the prodigal son
and i know that you're mesmerized
you had a vision, made these laws
and sanitized, are we above desires
i miss him so
you are so fucked
it has begun
revolution crawls
all over you
i was asleep
you light up this sky
and scrape out your skull
your lovely face
will never be claimed thrice
it was so unlikely doom
upon my wrists i bear the cross
my losses mount as i climb across the hole
of my own soul
i'll claim my prize
i don't exist
i am divine
a ghost with eyes
[billy: yeah, vietnam.]
[james: you headin' to vietnam?]
[unknown: yes, i need to be at the co-op.]
[unknown: thanks dude.]
[jimmy: i'm jungle-drummed out, man.]

Good edgy song
I have a theory that this is the lyrical & musical sequel to one of there earlier singles, I Am One, but considering it came from me, it's probably not right. Oh well, I still think it's a kick-ass song from an equally kick-ass album!
Smashing Pumpkins were together for thirteen years before they broke up.
this song fucking rocks! yeah anyways, that's what i think...
After an exhausting process to find out what the name of this song was (I heard it on the Greatest Hits DVD), I finally found it. This song does fucking rock! What album is this on? And where are all the other people who should be posting about this song?!
it's on machina II and rotten apples (disc 2).
'I don't exist'
That's clearly not what Billy's singing, although what he is singing I have no idea.
@Songmeaningsuser he says it in the live recordings lmfao

Reading what mikewilkes wrote it seems to fit, definantly picks up on that theme all through the song
It honestly reminds me of a revolution. In the revolution he looses his friend or brother, or maybe father. He becomes a brutal dictator and is then attempted to be overthrown. The brutal dictator then goes in hiding. While typing this I just thought about South America. Huh.
This song is perfectly edgy. Probably one of their edgiest songs.
