This is the only good Christmas song.
i love this song, it's so good. it's pretty self explanatory...it's about a guy that loves this girl he (probably) went out with, and she once cared about him ["you told me you would be here by my side, warming my heart on this cold winter's night..."]. However, I'm assuming they broke up and while the girl cares nothing about the guy, he hasn't been able to forget her. i think.
My 6 yr old niece loves this song, so i'm guessing the meaning is pretty clear for everyone?

'Tis the season to be jolly. To be merry. To be alone. To cry. Some of us find people to be with on Christmas. Some of us open up our presents and find nothing but a broken heart and another day without love.
That is what the song is about. Being alone and wanting nothing more than a love to keep you company on the holiday. And then, you get nothing more than yourself. Truly heartbreaking.
i agree with Hot Rod Hero very sad song, thats why its one of my favorites, but then again every weezer song is my favorite.
