Knock-Down Drag-Out Lyrics
Any day now you'll call me up on the phone
Say you love me more than you ever did before
It's all that I can do right now
To make it up to you somehow
And meet you on the other side of home
Take no prisoners here in this knock down drag out war
That we're waging on each other forever more
It's all that I can do right now
To make it up to you somehow
And meet you on the other side of home
Say you love me now
It's all that I can do right now
To make it up to you somehow
And meet you on the other side of home
Say you love me now
Take no prisoners here in this knock down drag out war
That we're waging on each other forever more
That we're waging on each other forever more
Say you love me more than you ever did before
To make it up to you somehow
And meet you on the other side of home
That we're waging on each other forever more
To make it up to you somehow
And meet you on the other side of home
Say you love me now
To make it up to you somehow
And meet you on the other side of home
Say you love me now
That we're waging on each other forever more
That we're waging on each other forever more

i think this is about a guy being really bitchy to his ex to try and hide the fact that he still wants her, because she is obviously over him. my least favourite song on the green album, but good non-the-less.
its great. i think its about this guy who likes someone who hates him, so he pretends that he hates her too. i think. i dont know
i think this is about a guy that has cheated on a girl, which she dumped him for. I think it's basically about him realising he really does love this girl but he's too embarrassed to admitt it, so he is waiting for her to say it first. which really doesn't make any sense, but I'll express my opinion anyway
Maybe you guys are right who knows... I think its about a boyfriend and girlfriend who are just having a hard time getting along. He talks about making it up to her or her calling him up.. sounds like their together and everything, but its just tough.. I remember when I first got the green album I was having some arguments with my girlfriend and this was perfect for me to sing.. It was like he knew exactly what I was thinking. So now we have 4 interpretations.. Why stop there!?!
best on the green by million miles
i wouldn't say it THE BEST song on the Green album...in my opinion it would be Glorious Day...or Photograph...but that's me...
it's still very good, though. great song.
i agree with susiehighschool its really typical for that to happen I'm surprised there aren't more songs written about it
good song, my second favorite on the green album.
crab's better, but this is still really good! =w=
