I'm A Believer Lyrics
Meant for someone else, but not for me.
Oh, love was out to get me,
That's the way it seemed,
Disappointment haunted all my dreams.
Now I'm a believer.
Not a trace,
Of doubt in my mind.
I'm in love,
I'm a believer, I couldn't leave her if I tried.
Seems the more I gave, the less I got.
Oh, what's the use in trying,
All you get is pain,
When I needed sunshine, I got rain.
Now I'm a believer.
Not a trace,
Of doubt in my mind.
I'm in love,
I'm a believer, I couldn't leave her if I tried.
That's the way it seemed,
Disappointment haunted all my dreams.
Now I'm a believer.
Not a trace,
Of doubt in my mind.
I'm in love,
I'm a believer, I couldn't leave her if I tried.
Now I'm a believer.
Not a trace,
Of doubt in my mind.
Said, i'm a believer, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!

having not seen the Shrek film I have no idea what yr on about... brilliant song is all, happy happy :)
about a guy who used to think love wasn't worthwhile...that all changes when he catches a glimpse of a girl who sweeps him off his feet. sweet simple good song
i love it when donkey sings this @ the end of shrek. it is the best ending ever, actually, the 2nd best, the 1st being the end of monty python's 'search for the holy grail'
ahhhh!!!! that was such a disgrace to the monkees!
This is a wonderful song. Shrek disrespects it. Also, the end of Grail sucks. That is all.
You know, I find it sad that the year this came out it was the number one song in the world and it only gets four comments now...
Anyway. Fantastic song, always seriously lifts the mood. I don't think there's really much to analyze-- I love this song.
i love it when donkey sings it too, donkey rules! he doesn't disrespect it at all, he makes it fun! great song tho!!
that is sad that no body cares or remembers...unless it was in a new movie. wow.
anyway, this is a crazy cheery song that always makes me think of tiaras and clouds. (dunno why, but whatever)
I love this song, listening to it makes me want to get on my bed and start dancing.
No, not the Kirsten Dunst dancing in Bring it On.
