This song is about Pharell's grandmother. She has leukemia. He wants to run to the sun with her. Then, they will no longer be on earth and will no longer have to accept the idea of time. that way, she won't die. Also, he's apologizing for not having been in her life as much as he should have. And, he's in denial about her leaving. He's just professing his love for his sick grandmother.
i think this song is about a guy telling the one he loves (that apparently is sick and going to die) that he loves her and how he wishes none of it was happening. he wishes that they could forget everything and run away, and have no worries. how sad :(

I agree with inygma and Dizzy mostly inygma because I believe Pharell grandma was sick and died around this time
