This song is something alot of people can relate to. Everyone wants someone who pays special attention to them. You wouldn't want your girlfriend to say something incredibly nice about you and make you feel special then say that exact same thing to another guy.

Rivers said about No One Else: "The jealous, obsessive asshole in me freaking out my girlfriend." This is a good song.

and, according to Rivers, The World has Turned and Left me Here is "The same asshole wondering why she's gone."

I love Weezer. They are that aorta sterotypical American garage band who sing cheesy little songs about girlfriends and are all 'geeks' who love Iron Maiden and Old School British metal. And they play geeky games like Dungeons and Dragons. It always makes me smile to picture the band that way :)

i think the most important line is "i want a girl who will laugh for no one else" i mean...i was dating a girl once, and i've always prided myself on being funny, and then i saw how she was laughing with other guys, and always saying how funny they were, and it made me fell like...less

gee, thanks zac, thats really enlightening. backupdork is right, my sister gets really offended by this song, saying its selfish, but everyone does want their other half to pay special attention to them. We are all a little possesive in our own way, but some more than others.

I'm a girl... and I don't like to my boyfriend feel like less by laughing at other guys' jokes, it's a small thing but it's the small things that count. I like to make my boyfriend feel like he's the only one I feel anything for. I'm not a guy so I've never experiance being jealous like that but I can see where he's coming from.

is it really just guys that get obcessivly jealous? i wish they weren't, but the words in this song mean so much. it's just no one admits to it.. not often anyway. nice one rivers!
