Defo a song about loosing your faith and religion adn trying to regain that and expressing weather if it is all reall and actually worth the bother, i love it when he says "ohh salvation" get shivers great song and realyl weird how B.R.M.C seem to have this very cool relatioship with religion and faith i thinbk its brilliant.

but seriously, this is a great song. this and howl are my two favorites. its about faith, thats so obvious. "do you feel alive?" its like keeping your hope and faith in whatever problems you encounter.
i know this has been brought up about another brmc song with the word jesus in it, but it's really likely this song is using jesus as a symbol for a drug dealer in this song. just read the lyrics and think about it you'll see it.
It maybe about drugs, yes. Jesus is the drug dealer and the serpent is the abstinence. Salvation is finally finding a fix.
But I still think it's about losing faith.
