one of my favorite songs, lazy days are a metaphor for not being in love with someone else, but being in love with your days, and your solitude. then a red balloon appears in your planet, a metaphor for meeting a stranger and potentially falling love with them. you become attracted to them and enjoy the time with them, and become close. The day comes, it hurts to let them go and see them "sail away" but at the end of the day you are back to your lazy days! its not good to cling, or to become obsessive, rather we should allow ourselves to love unconditionally, everyone you encounter and especially love the time you spend by yourself. cause at the end of it all only you can bring peace and happiness. love this song. helped me through some tough times
