When I was a student and VERY broke, I would regularly go to this cafe where they had "sing for your supper" night. You had to entertain the people in the restaurant for at least 20 minutes, and if you weren't booed off the stage they gave you a free meal. Nearly every time I went there, I performed this song with my acoustic guitar. 20 years later, I still think it's one of the most beautiful songs ever...and I guess I always will.

i can't believe there are so many people in the world who aren't aware of all these amazing songs. every time i fell in love with someone, unrequited, if it was, this song would be the soundtrack to my life.
