What's the Ugliest Part of Your Body? Lyrics

What's the ugliest
Part of your body?
What's the ugliest
Part of your body?
Some say your nose
Some say your toes
(I think it's your mind)
But I think it's YOUR MIND
(Your mind)
I think it's your mind, woo woo

ALL YOUR CHILDREN ARE POOR
UNFORTUNATE VICTIMS OF
SYSTEMS BEYOND THEIR CONTROL
A PLAGUE UPON YOUR IGNORANCE & THE GRAY
DESPAIR OF YOUR UGLY LIFE

Where did Annie go
When she went to town?
Who are all those creeps
That she brings around?

ALL YOUR CHILDREN ARE POOR
UNFORTUNATE VICTIMS OF LIES YOU BELIEVE
A PLAGUE UPON YOUR IGNORANCE THAT KEEPS
THE YOUNG FROM THE TRUTH THEY DESERVE . . .

again..kinda has that beatles vibe. the lyrics are reversed. the beatles would've said What's the most beautiful part of your body? or somethin like that...lovebird hippies.

The singer is telling his sweetheart that her perceived "looks deficits" are non-existent and all of her looks fine. Awwwwww :-)

This is about popular culture it seems.

  1. the fact that people want to look beautiful but forget about looking beautiful on the inside also. because thats not cool.

  2. About how parent bestow their opinions onto their children and subconsciously they learn to live the same way. hating the same things, etc. not being themselves, theyre being you.

  3. the people children hang around with also contribute to how your childrens grow up.

  4. same as 2.

im tired to properly analyze and my sentences are coming out jumbled.

While you're right child about the Beatles having a lot of love happy songs, they were also very cynical at times, so I wouldn't count them out to do a song like this. Look up the lyrics to "baby you're a rich man". It's not a happy go lucky hippie tune, or "taxman". They had anger too, just wanted to shed some light on that.

Also Zappa needs more attention, esp these days with so many bands sounding exactly like the next. Long live Zappa.

Another connection is how OH NO from WEASELS ATE MY FLESH is the antithesis of ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE
