i just sense a lt of confusion in this song. i think we can all relate to that :) honestly i never paid much attention to these lyrics. its just one of those songs i love to rock out to. (its unbelievable in concert)

This song means a lot to me. I think because I want someone to save me from myself. I do a lot of shit I shouldn't but no one tries to stop me .... I don't care much for myself.

I think the narrator is the ghost; he's dead and reflecting on his new existence vs his old one.
I think it's about feeling distant and away from home, whether it be a physical plane such as a place or mentally. You feel lost where you're not and it's starting to really bug and get to you. The ghost is the memory of what home and your comfort zone was and you're asking it to help you feel that way again.
