i think this song is about drug abuse in which the boyfriend and girlfriend is torn between the relationship. i think the girlfriend lied to her boyfriend once about experimenting with drugs and its came back to haunt her. he brings it up and uses it against her. she wants him to stop the drugs but he wont, instead he lies behind her back, then she finds out and she feels on the edge with the relationship.
