i think this song is about a girl that everyone thinks commited a crime but she didn't. kickass song, the distillers old stuff is the best.

I think this song is about a girl who acts all punk or whatever just to get guys or something... I dont know... All the words seem to jumbled up and stuff, bt still... This is such an awesome song! I can't believe not many people have commented on this song, it kicks so much ass.... Brody's voice is just... beautifully ugly. Kinda like Kurt Cobain. Like a female version of Kurt.

I have to admit when i first heard this song i thought it sucked so much! But now ive heard it a few hundred times more i have to say its fukin awesome! Brody is such an idol! i love her so much!!

Man, I hate this song... It scared the fuck out me when I heard it.. I thought brody was forreal a guy.... Well maybe thats cause this is the first song I had ever heard by TD and I was like wtf!!! But other then that i love them

What I get out of the song is...its about a girl whos getting rumors spread about her and everyone is only believing the rumors side of the story.

other than that, brody has me stumped.

i thought it was about a punk girl like brody,(or kc in the song 'red hot moon') who gets misunderstood, rumours spread about her and parents and teachers think she is too rebellious 'I know that theyre saying about you They all say its a resistance They all say that ya didn't listen' I think its about teenage rebellion and how she can relate to the girl serena, telling her not to give up 'Oh Serena I know the pain inside you I know what they’re saying about you Its not true' thats how i interpreted it anyway

I thought this song was just about some chick people were talking shit about, but I can see how the whole "too rebellious" thing fits in.

Oh, and I googled "carneleby", and all I got were the lyrics to this song. I think she made that word up...

i'm sure some of you will debate me on this but i thinks its about a girl who commits suiceide, hear me out!!

the people refered to as "they" said there was no way they could help her but it still pains them to have watched her go "scars on their eyes"
