This song is about falling completely into love over summer (when most people's obligations to their society is on hold) and then BAM it is autumn and everything floods you back into reality and the pressure is just so strong "we're like crystal" i.e. FRAGILE "it's not easy" well... no shit. It is about a beautiful love becoming impossible to maintain. Love is irrational while society, social obligations and responsibilities are more rational in the eyes of many, the eyes of society, but never through the eyes of love.
