Wow im the first one posting on this one well i think this is a really really good song i really like this band and they are awsome
It's about working hard for the girl you want but still not getting even close to getting her. "And lost it all in one blackout summer night" it might mean he did something that hert her like cheated on her when he was drunk or something. Or he blackedout because they broke up and now he wants to get back with her.
