It's a great song but the lyric is actually pretty meaningless... he wrote it way to personal for anyone to make a good interpretation of.

I don't really have an interpritation of this song but I love turning it on full blast when I get home from a crap day or when someones pissed me off...it's great.
I interpret it as someone he would really like to be with, but for some reason or another she/he (gotta be politically correct) is unattainable. The first lines, "eyes glazed over another daylight dream cutting kisses from invisible lips..." and "I taste your name in the sky, in the sun, in the stars..." make me think that he is creating scenes in his head of a relationship, but in reality it will never happen.
