This song is about a serial killer. The song came to be on the No More Tears album when ozzy was auditioning for bass players. Mike Inez was auditioning played the bass line and that became the inspiraiton for the entire song and the title to the album.

i dont think the focus of the song is supposed to be the killer, i think the idea is that you cant change the past, only the future so theyres no use crying about what cannot be changed

This song has a great guitar part. To me I see it as getting over things but thats the way I see it which probaly isnt what it means. This song is a very complex song with many angles of feeling.
i was about to post that it was something to do with prostitution but now i read aobut the serial killer thing ive changed my thing... although prostitutes do seem to be a common target for serial killers... either way thanx for setting me straight.
