Frealin' badass, it makes me want to get into the Residents. This song has a weird structure in the singing, but that makes it even cooler.

This is probably stretching meanings beyond Homer & Hardy's intentions... but I picture the singer tearing up at seeing a love of his marrying someone else. "Onion rings:" onions make you cry, see... "Feet are filled with glue:" no longer free but anchored to one person, see? And might it be "ALTAR life," continuing the wedding theme? "a silken sponge that calls saliva love" and "undetermined oyster beds... to be a hedge:" doubts this marriage is based on real feelings, only on bodily fluids and convenience (like a financial hedge). "Favorite Ferlinghetti found in Auntie Mame" is interesting. In the original book, Auntie Mame hooks up with a so-called poet who's a big phony, just a leech and a lush. Whatcha think?
