Danzig is very well read in the occult, magick, etc. Chances are "She Rides" is in reference to The Whore of Babylon mentioned in the last book of the Holy Bible, Revelation. Not only is Danzig singing about the Whore of Babylon, but also what, in Thelema, which was developed by Aleister Crowley, is Babalon. Babalon rides upon the Beast with 7 Heads, that is the Lower 7 Sefira that were emanated into the Abyss. Her Cup is the Holy Grail, and there the Aspirant, or Magician, if you will, sacrifices all that he has and all that he is, including his own Ego, as he crosses the abyss, facing the illusions of Choronzon (333). Ya, this song is definitely about Lillith, but it is cool because it makes her sound like a demonic, seductive spirit that rides the darkness to do her evils.
