Ray of light annoying as a cold breath in the eyes
Water falls down

Lights around are flashing
and in meat a razorblade
water falls down

Seems to be the day
(I cannot handle this)
listen to the music in my mind
for a while

seems to be my hour
my shell has disappeared
swallow whirls of dust into my mouth

But it's wonderful I know

Hiding all my fear
my nightmare is becoming real
take a look at me
I'm a loser

Hiding all my crimes and then
forgetting all my ideas
Take a look at me
I'm a loser

I'm a loser

General CommentI happened to have a personal connection to Lacuna Coil, because they have a history that extends far beyond Italy. In fact the original members of the band were based in - get this - New Orleans, LA. The original lead guitarist wrote this song after watching a TV movie about St. Joan of Arc, which directly plays into theories about someone being sentenced to death. The song was originally titled "Wonderful," and the reason it held that title was because the little girl playing the young Joan in the movie kept yelling the phrase, "It's wonderful! Everything is wonderful!"
