Its about a guy who travels to Mars, but its so desolate and boring there that all he can do is think about his girl and being with her again, so hes sending her money to come live with him on Mars.

I always (still do, actually) thought the line was "Thank God we're leaving today," like they just want the hell out of wherever. Mexico, it sounds like, but Puerto Rico probably, knowing Frank Black.
