dang.. i guess im the only one to comment.. lol.. well i love this song just as i love all of their other songs.. they are amazing.. i think this song is about how you had a love.. and for some reason things didnt work out.. and everywhere you go.. there she/he is.. or an image or sumthing that reminds you of the person.. and it just stays in your head.. it haunts you

this song is probably about what you said above, but it kind of reminds me of a time in my life, after a friend of mine committed suicide, and the lyrics are really close to how I felt.

This reminds me of a period after my ex and I broke up (the same ex I mentioned in Desperate Now). For a long time, every face I saw was hers, every voice I heard was hers, and every dream I had was of her. Lasted a long-ass time, too... just goes to show you how awesome Stabbing Westward was at identifying negative emotions.

A friend of mine is shooting a movie titled "Haunting Me" and the intro plays this song as I write the lyrics on a piece of paper. Editing nightmare for him but cool idea.

In the movie I play Jesse, and his/my ex girlfriend have a chance meeting in an aisle of Fred Meyers and end up walking out hand in hand (way simplified). He wrote it well and it's not cheesy, we will see how it works out.

i love the weird life support-esque synth in the beginning and throughout the song. heh. metaphor there? hmm.

this has been one of my favorite songs of theirs for quite awhile. everytime i listen to it i feel cold, because i had a moment of clarity once in someone's car on the way home from a movie in late december a couple of years ago...he had this album playing in the car at the time, and this song was on... dark and raining, carlights reflecting off the wet pavement... feeling alone. it kind of burned that memory into this song, so whenever i hear it, not only does it remind me of... certain things in the present, but it also brings up that whole time period. which you'd think after all of this time i would forget about, but you'd be mistaken.

which is probably why this song makes my chest hurt. hooray for carrying around so many goddamned ghosts with me. sigh.

I dunno. This song strikes a chord that I cannot explain. I've let down people before, and I can still relive the moments that they come to me demanding answers to questions I can't even answer myself.

Most People are saying this is a breakup song. But in ALL HONESTY I really think its the oppisite. It's not really a love song either. What I interpret it as someone who is in the darkest patch they can be in, and through it all theres this one person who helps them and brigns them too nirvana, makes them feel unreal (Everything about me is a lie, at least thats how i feel when I look into your eyes) And they become so reliant on them that their face their voice "huants them". And this someone isnt feeling love, either they refuse too or the way i interpret havent reached that point yet. And sometimes they wonder why this person is so important too them all of a sudden(Why cant I let you go?) (Was it something that you said, Was it all the guilt inside my head)
