A song on drug addiction. I think it tells of a person they know that they original knew that took up drugs and now is a completely different person. Change for the worse.
If you think this is a straight edge song you are wrong, Pennywise are not straight edge and I know some of them really like to drink (Fletcher, Jason did...). Freebase means freebase cocaine. One of the worst thing to be addicted to, very dangerous for your heart, even more than snortable cocaine, extremely addictive and can ruin you financially easily. Or just give you a heart attack or stroke at 25 and end up in a wheelchair and many other things like that. Freebase cocaine (aka crack) is not to mess with unless you don't know how to get some again and get offered a hit randomly at a show ;)
