Last week, Kyle quit the band
Now we're back together, uh
Misunderstanding, didn't understand
It doesn't matter, now we're back together again
Uh la la la la la

Couldn't split up Kato and Nash
That's true
Couldn't split up Tango and Cash
That's also true

This is our song of exultant joy because
We only came to kick some ass
Rock the fuckin' house and kick some ass
What we gonna do with all the cash?

Smoke hash, and then we thrash
We'll throw a big ol' bash, y'all
And everyone is invited to the bash
And everyone, you're all invited to the bash
C'mon Kyle, watch out, c'mon

This song is about being a duo. Your a team, and you work together through thick and thin. It is thier song to express thier "exultant joy" about being in abd together.

Yeah I agree with element. I reckon its the 2nd part to inward singing cos thats when Kyle left the band. The song is brilliant-like all Tenacious D songs. Can these guys ever go wrong?

...this song kicks ass. Your right, when they perform it live its right after Inward Singing. They get in a fight on stage then Kyle gives Jack the finger and starts to walk off stage....Jack consoles him and comes back to the mic and sings "Half a minute ago...Kyle quit the band" Its fucking hilarious. Also a really great Reggae, rock band from Long Beach called Bargain Music cover this song in one of their dubs....its pretty killer......

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
