This song is in no way about the keyboardist death to heroin. It was recorded well before that tragedy occurred. Love how some people assume they know everything lol.. And I agree with many that it really sounds like he's saying 'Hold me..' I have never heard the word hungry in this song..
i always thought that he was singing "hold me, hold me again" this is an awesome song, listening ot it feels like driving alone in the rain at 3 in the morning. It's my understanding that this was recorded in a make shit stufy, like an aparement or something. at one point during the song, you can hear a turck or something driving outside. so yeah, uhm... good song!

I believe that it's "hungry" but anyhow the song is so great. Billy's use of the word "almost" in the song drives my emotions insane, its beautiful.
