I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
We're coming home on a plane crash.
We trip away through the night.
We're breaking up on impact.
We'll bring it to you live.
We're itching. We need it.
You're broken. You're bleeding.
We're living. We're learning.
We're watching you burning.
We know what we really want.
We know what we really want.
We're creeping into your living room.
We're crawling into your bed.
We're taking you all back to school.
We're bringing you our dead.
We're itching. We need it.
You're broken. You're bleeding.
We're living. We're learning.
We're watching you burning.
We know what we really want.
We know what we really want.
We found a friend in Jesus
Via sattelite.
He says there's nothing to regret.
Just bring it to me live.
We're itching. We need it.
You're broken. You're bleeding.
We're living. We're learning.
We're watching you burning.
We know what we really want.
We know what we really want.
We know what we really want.
We trip away through the night.
We're breaking up on impact.
We'll bring it to you live.
We're itching. We need it.
You're broken. You're bleeding.
We're living. We're learning.
We're watching you burning.
We know what we really want.
We know what we really want.
We're creeping into your living room.
We're crawling into your bed.
We're taking you all back to school.
We're bringing you our dead.
We're itching. We need it.
You're broken. You're bleeding.
We're living. We're learning.
We're watching you burning.
We know what we really want.
We know what we really want.
We found a friend in Jesus
Via sattelite.
He says there's nothing to regret.
Just bring it to me live.
We're itching. We need it.
You're broken. You're bleeding.
We're living. We're learning.
We're watching you burning.
We know what we really want.
We know what we really want.
We know what we really want.

I think the meaning is pretty clear. This person got really burned in a previous relationship, and because of this is unable to love and show care in his present one, even though he so badly wants to. It's lovely song, and very sad. You can really feel how defeated and frustrated he is with himself.
you forgot the WHOAS and the YAYAS! oh, i know they are in there. im not crazy. keep up the lyrics citizenx!
possibly about news and the media. thats what it sounds like to me at least. new corresponders are always saying "we" anyways.. like "we bring you so-and-so live at the scene of the crime"
just my thought anyways.
so, i have a seemingly dumb question. is this band christian, or does it mock christianity? i can't tell with this band.
I love this band so much...too bad they broke up. bruiseviolet, they are not a Christian band, but Todd Lewis(vocals) was raised as a baptist.
