It's so true, sometimes you doubt if the person you're with loves you and you just want them to say it. You don't care if they don't mean it, you just want to hear them say it.

The song is about feeling love towards another person. The significant other doesn't return his feelings, but only uses them to her advantage so she can have what she wants. This song is pretty nice live. It gives the crowd a chance to breathe and break out the lighters.

man i love this song so much! i agree with grnpunkerchic about this song. its exacly the same with me but swiched so all the girl parts are about a guy. my boyfriend and i just broke up today and this is how i feel about the whole thing. disaster by home grown hits the spot as well on how i feel. to me this song is describes a type of relationship that everyone has at some point in life. all you ever wanted to gain from the relationship was a sense that the feeling of concern for the person is mutual, but you are always aware that it isn't. also, as much as we complain about them, in the end something in them still attracts to be their friend or lover. and what hurts most in the end is knowing that you've been lying to yourself, and ultimatley you've got know one to blame but yourself.
