Does anybody else hear that it almost sounds like he says "Once upon a time... I went bowlin'" I love this song, but somethines I just start laughing.

Like a lot of Adore, this song is a reflection of Billy's mother, who died just before the album was recorded. It's so sad and a beautiful song.
