All your dreams are made
When you're chained to the mirror and the razor blade
Today's the day that all the world will see
Another sunny afternoon
Walking to the sound of my favorite tune
Tomorrow never knows what it doesn't know too soon

Need a little time to wake up
Need a little time to wake up wake up
Need a little time to wake up
Need a little time to rest your mind

You know you should so I guess you might as well
What's the story morning glory?
Well
You need a little time to wake up wake up
Well
What's the story morning glory?
Well
Need a little time to wake up wake up

All your dreams are made
When you're chained to the mirror and the razor blade
Today's the day that all the world will see
Another sunny afternoon
Walking to the sound of my favorite tune
Tomorrow never knows what it doesn't know too soon

Need a little time to wake up
Need a little time to wake up wake up
Need a little time to wake up
Need a little time to rest your mind

You know you should so I guess you might as well
What's the story morning glory?
Well
Need a little time to wake up wake up
Well
What's the story morning glory?
Well
You need a little time to wake up wake up
Well
What's the story morning glory?
Well
Need a little time to wake up wake up
Well
What's the story morning glory?
(I said) well
Need a little time to wake up wake up

General CommentAs others have said, one song can have a billion meanings, and we can never truly know what it meant to it's creator. However, I think, as others have said, this is about addiction (keep in mind, though, that I don't know much about drugs, so I could be wrong on a few points I'm about to make), especially when you combine the lyrics with the seemingly-incoherent music video.

"When you're chained to the mirror and the razor-blade" -- I think the mirror is self-reflection, and the razor-blade is addiction. Your addiction has most likely estranged you from your loved ones and your life -- not completely, but somewhat -- and so you have all this time to reflect on it while you continue to get high.

"Another sunny afternoon, walking to the sound of my favorite tune" -- I think this could be exactly as it sounds; he's on the sidewalk in the city, ear-buds in. Perhaps it's noted because it's become one of the few normal facets of his life left. Or he could be going to meet his dealer. Or perhaps he's high and he has music on to enhance the effect, and doing drugs has become something as mundane -- yet as pleasant -- as simply taking a walk.

"Tomorrow never knows what it doesn't know too soon" -- he never knows when the drugs are going to permanently, suddenly fuck up his life. He's playing with fire. Or perhaps it's as simple as, when you get high frequently a certain number of times, eventually it stops giving you a high although you remain addicted and don't give up for fear of withdrawal. He knows this is impending, but he's in deep and doesn't want to stop.

    "Well,
    What's the story, Morning Glory?"

"Need a little time to wake up,
need a little time to rest my mind"

    "You know you should,
so I guess you might as well"

In the music video, people are coming up to his door and trying to get in. Inside, it's dim, and he's just lazing about. I think this could be people he knows trying to reach him, trying to confront him about his drug use and how it's changing him and affecting his relationships/life, or maybe they're not aware, but they see he's changed and are demanding an explanation. When he deflects, waking up, tell-tale signs of use left over from last night -- "Need a little time to wake up, need a little time to rest my mind"-- they give up, rather bitterly, "You know you should, so I guess you might as well."

This could be way off, I probably don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, but there it is.
    Good day.
