My Blue Heaven Lyrics
Day is ending
Birds are wending
Back to their shelter of
Each little nest they love
Nightshade's falling
Lovebirds calling
What makes the world go round
Nothing but love
When Whippoorwills call
And evening is night
I hurry to my blue heaven
I turn to the right
A little white light
Will lead you to my blue heaven
You'll see a smiling face
A fireplace, a cozy room
A little nest
That's nestled where the roses bloom
Just Molly and me
And baby makes three
We're happy in my blue heaven
You'll see a smiling face
A fireplace, a cozy room
A little nest
That's nestled where the roses bloom
Just Molly and me
And baby makes three
We're happy in my blue heaven
We're happy in my blue heaven
Birds are wending
Back to their shelter of
Each little nest they love
Lovebirds calling
What makes the world go round
Nothing but love
And evening is night
I hurry to my blue heaven
I turn to the right
A little white light
Will lead you to my blue heaven
A fireplace, a cozy room
A little nest
That's nestled where the roses bloom
And baby makes three
We're happy in my blue heaven
A fireplace, a cozy room
A little nest
That's nestled where the roses bloom
And baby makes three
We're happy in my blue heaven

This is a cover of a standard by George Whitling-Walter Donaldson from 1927... just a great little love song where everything is perfect.
This is probably one of the best cover songs of all time. Something about it struck me the first time I heard it: It sounded VERY familiar. Did anyone else get that feeling? I know it was never released as a single, but I couldn't shake the notion that I might have heard it before.
Aw, this is such a cute song. :-)
This song is so smooth like you are soaring in this heaven, That is blue! Even better!
Oh my God, I love this song... it always calms me down...
It's obviously just a simple piano/cello/vocal song about a little personal perfect world.
I want to climb into this song!
ohhh my god! this is totally about meth. blue heaven is a term used i guess "on the street" for meth and that makes total sense..
I hurry to my blue heaven I turn to the right A little white light Will lead you to my blue heaven
the white light signals smoking it and leading to him being in an amazing state of wellbeing i guess (although he's totally fucked up).
Monsterjuliaa, this song is totally not about meth. People that try to interpret every song as a drug reference are limiting the scope to which music will be open to them.

This song was written in the late 1800's and methamphetamine wasn't widely used until the 1940's, so it's definitely not about that. I think you may be looking a little too far into things.
