i want to touch the sun but i don't want to fly
i'm gonna climb up every mountain on the moon
i've found a distant mountain waving it's phone
supernaut
supernaut
i've crossed the oceans, done every land
i found the project at the golden rainbow's end
i've been through magic and through life's reality
i've lived a thousand years, it never bothered me
bothered me
supernaut
bothered me
supernaut
"and they all sing the same refrain: it's fun to take a trip, put acid in your veins"
oh, oh, oh, oh
"counting twenty-five seconds...twenty seconds and counting...t-minus fifteen seconds, guidance is internal...twelve...eleven...ten...nine...ignition sequence starts...six...five...four...three...two...one"
oh
got no religion, don't need no friends
got all i want, i've got no need to pretend
don't try to reach me 'cause i'll tear up your mind
i've seen the future and i'd leave it all behind
supernaut
supernaut
oh, oh, oh, oh
ooooooooooh
oh, oh, oh, oh
ooooooooooh
oh, oh, oh, oh
ooooooooooh
oh, oh, oh, oh
ooooooooooh...
If you didn't know Mininstry actually did re-record it as one of their own songs... on... Ministry Greatest Fits
Trent Reznor is doing the vocals on this. Al had to put all kinds of effects on trent's voice so it didn't sound like him, because trent's record label at the time wouldn't let him be on the track. So Trent & Al fucked that shit head record company. POW!!!!! BEst song on the 1st Sabbath tribute album
Trent's record label wouldn't let him sing on this track? When was this recorded? Trent's owned his own record label for about 10 years now(Nothing records)
darklord is right, the record label wouldnt let trent's vocals be used on the track, but you can still find the original version... its on the Black Box Waxtrax! Records set. It really is an awesome cover!
The album this song appears on (1000 Homo DJs - Supernaut) was released in 1990, during the time Trent was signed to TVT Records.
Whoever uploaded these lyrics is a fucking idiot and got them wrong, also this song is a cover of Supernaut by Black Sabbath.
i dont understand how people could mistake voices if theyve heard both songs. Trent puts more 'vocalizing' into it, while alain has more power
this was about 4-5 years before interscope EGB
I haven't heard this song, I've heard the 1000 homo dj song with trent reznor on vocals and obviously the original black sabbath song. "i've found a distant mountain waving it's phone" is that a joke? do they really say that?
