HOLY SH*T! Is it just me, or is this song just completly....wow? I mean.....wow. These lyrics are so moving and just overall amazing. It's about coming back to see someone again, knowing that you have to leave, but you're just coming back to tell them that it's over for good, and that you blame them. Waking up ready to tell them this for once. Wow...
i disagree i think this song is about ending a friendship.. hince the title..with friends like you.. saying he doesnt need them to be happy anymore that this person makes him feel like shit because he can do anything to make them feel better (dont you smile anymore..) that the person brings themselves down so much it wears on their "friends" this song is amazing , yes. i can relate
