I think the title speaks for itself. We will not stand oppresion and will go down in flames while fighting if we have to.

reminds me of the monks in...china ? that used burning themselves alive in the streets as a form of oppression.

It's about a man in the story of the album (wikipedia it). It's the speech he gives through a megaphone before lighting himself on fire.

Right enough. Reminds me of 'liberty or death' in the American revolution. Except that FF mean real freedom, rather than freedom for the American owning class in paying taxes to the British crown.

Good anti-government song. Perfect for our time of unjust wars, patriot acts, and religious hyperbole.

Reminds me of the phrase that Emiliano Zapata said "I'd rather die on my feet, than live on my knees".

In other words would rather die fighting for freedom (a cause) than live under oppression. This is pretty much what the song is about, in my opinion. Either sit and do nothing or be willing to set fire to yourself (fight) for your freedom!
