I think this song is about the 'live wire' in an electriucal circuit. There's three sorts of wires, neutral, earth and live. Live actually delivers the alternating current, which goes up and then dopwn. I think this going up and down of the voltage is the same as the opposite pairs in this song, troublesatisfaction, coolhot, heaven hell. Hope you get my point ;) cool song by the way.
