Dog Day Sunrise Lyrics
Dog Day Sunrise
Every day of my life
I'm working on a scheme
Working overtime underground
Girls work under floors
The failures tend the moors
But once the seem is cut
They find out what is learned
Dog Day Sunrise
Dog Day Sunrise
Dog Day Sunrise
Dog Day Sunrise
Drag your feet through hollow streets
Drag your feet through hollow streets
Drag your feet through hollow streets
Drag your feet through hollow streets
Dog Day Sunrise

Valentine has shining eyes

All I see in my head is a early 90s orange sunrise in LA (One Eight Seven) sped up with people going about their day.
This song owns. clear crisp drums with very powerful chords pumping away
BUT um someone mind explaining this song ?
This honestly reminds me a bit about "Silence of the Lambs". The guy hides women, fattens them up, starves them, then makes them into clothes. I dunno, made sense to me, but I doubt anyone else saw this.
i like it. vocals, drums and guitar just made to be together here...
I totally dig this track, and to me it seems to be about the drudgery of everyday life, and the desperate struggle to assert our individuality, even if the means by which that is achieved are somewhat sinister.
There are no lyrics in the booklet because it's a cover.
This song was originally done by a British industrial punk/metal band called Head of David. They were a bit like the proto-Godflesh who I'm sure FF fans should be familiar with.
Either way, great song and great cover. It does indeed seem to be about the shittiness and soul-destroying monotony of modern living, and coming from the same area as HoD I can see where they got their inspiration from for this.
Hello, i'm trying to understand this song but i just can't get it, what does it mean the "The failures tend the moors"? what does it means "But once the seem is cut"? isn't seem a verb? and what does it means "My valentine has Shining Eyes"? Thanks a lot.
"The failures tend the moors" is directed at people who have pointless, menial jobs. The moors are just open areas of wilderness that don't require tending to.

"Once the seem is cut" - A seem runs along the edge of your clothing and holds the threads together. When the seem is cut, your clothes unravel.

"My valentine has shining eyes" - I have no idea.

@herudae It makes a lot more sense if it\'s spelled "seam", not "seem". It was just a typo or misspelling by whoever posted the lyrics.

This one of my least favourite Fear factor songs and is the worst song on the Demanufacture album.
