Maybe I'm nitpicking, but this song is actually just called "Scarred". "The Suffering" is the collective name for the last 3 songs on "The Dark Saga" album ("Scarred," "Slave To The Dark" & "A Question Of Heaven") which form a trilogy.
Well true rock hawk, but this is where the trilogy begins, which is why it states the name of the trilogy (The Suffering) and then states the name of the actual song itself, "Scarred". Anyways, at this point on the album, the hero is reflecting on his situation. Is he in control, or merely a pawn in the battle of Heaven and Hell?
