I Found A Reason Lyrics
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
I found a reason to keep living
Oh and the reason, dear, is you
I found a reason to keep singing
Oh and the reason, dear, is you
Oh I do believe
If you don't like things you live
For some place you never gone before
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Honey, I found a reason to keep living
And you know the reason, dear it's you
And I've walked down life's lonely highways
Hand in hand with myself
And I realized how many paths have crossed between us
Oh I do believe
You're all what you perceive
What come is better that what came before
Oh I do believe
You're all what you perceive
What come is better that what came before
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
And you'd better come, come come, come to me
Come come, come to me
pa papa papa pa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Oh and the reason, dear, is you
I found a reason to keep singing
Oh and the reason, dear, is you
If you don't like things you live
For some place you never gone before
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
And you know the reason, dear it's you
And I've walked down life's lonely highways
Hand in hand with myself
And I realized how many paths have crossed between us
You're all what you perceive
What come is better that what came before
You're all what you perceive
What come is better that what came before
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
Pa papa papa papa
And you'd better come, come come, come to me
Come come, come to me

the first thing i thought when i heard it was about irony, mostly because of the little sweet-talk breakdown that lou reed does -- it's really really silly. i adore the song, but it also makes me laugh a little bit, which makes it even better to me than a straight love song.
what interview? do you have the link?
beautiful song.
this is one of my favoruite songs ever. i think the meaning is pretty ovious.
This song is so mellow yet soothing and refreshing to listen to.
I like this song and I don't mind Loaded. Sure, the record company asked them to be a bit more commercial and they still pull it off successfully.
According to the Wikipedia page on Lou: Cale has since been quoted as saying that he could not understand how Reed who could write such "tender and heartfelt" songs, and yet "could be the complete opposite as a human being.
Heh.
cat power covered this. decent cover, but pales in comparison with the original
For a long time, I thought this was a scary song, because of the way Massive Attack sampled it on "Risingson", which truly is an icy, haunted song... What a surprise when I heard the original song !
It is so much more original if it is considered ironic!
I like this song. I find it has a very mo-town vibe with the harmonies. I can imagine this is a kind of parody of the songs that conquered the 50s.
This song has an almost identical sentiment as "The Reason" by Hoobastank, yet one song i love and one song is so bad i shudder to think about it. guess which song is which?
Hopefully this song is the one you love and Hoobastank's is the one you hate.
