Depressing. Obviously the music and vocals are next level. I would describe it as kind of an upbeat "hero" prog/fusion in major that just feels so good to the ears and the mind. The key change hits just right. Don't even get me started on Henrik. But the lyrics are depressing. I think it's quite clearly referring to a romantic attachment that is being vacated, rather than familial or some other type of relationship. I've only been in one relationship that eventually made me want to "run away" and that's all I could think about when hearing these lyrics. That situation did not put me in an upbeat mood. Total contrast to the music. The lyrics seem more fitting for the style of a Ben Howard or a Damien Rice. So that's interesting to me. I don't think there's any deeper meaning to be found here.
