According to Burke Shelley, this song was not written by him or John Thomas and was instead by an RCA A&R man who thought he knew what he wanted Budgie to sound like. It was recorded in 1983, along with the tracks Renegade, Sweet Fast Talker, Wait Till Tomorrow, Rock Your Blood, and Heaven in Your Eyes in 1984.
