This song tells the story of a man in love with a woman from afar who told him she lived with a friend. When he comes to meet her he discovers she was already married and her friend was her husband. Without saying a word he gets out of the house and leaves her. It's overall meaning or season is that sometimes people are seeing someone else behind their partners back and sometimes their accomplice isn't even aware of the cheating they're playing a part in.
