The song itself was one of two songs made for the 2014 film Scintilla, aka The Hybrid, and was recorded under the band name The Scintilla Project. Biff Byford, who was interested in the film helped work on the soundtrack, along with Lionel Hicks on drums, Anthony Ritchie on bass, and Andy Sneap on guitar. Despite being recorded under another name, as well as not appearing on the newly formed super-groups album, it was rerecorded for the Call to Arms album. The version on the Saxon album also features Deep Purple keyboardist Don Airey in a guest appearance.
The film itself revolves around an elite team of mercenaries who are hired for a covert operation, deep inside a former Soviet state. When arriving at an underground laboratory, their mission is to secure specimens of genetically engineered human and alien hybrids. Facing a battle with a ferocious armed militia, as well as dark menacing creatures, the odds of survival are stacked against them.
