The Remnant Lyrics
We have not forgotten
We have not forgotten
We are a part of the resistance
The underground insurgent remnant
We bear this burden through the ages
Beneath the surface the war still rages on
They were the chosen ones
We have not forgotten
We are the only ones
Who refuse to let go
Separation
Countless dimensions in between
Communication
Severed ties with ancient mystery
No explanation
Only the silence of the unforgiving void
Dissociation
We can't let this memory be destroyed
We have not forgotten
We have not forgotten
This is the work of a hundred generations
To recover what was abandoned
To unlock the secret of the ancients
And traverse dimensional space again
They were the chosen ones
We have not forgotten
We are the only ones
Who refuse to let go
Separation
Countless dimensions in between
Communication
Severed ties with ancient mystery
No explanation
Only the silence of the unforgiving void
Dissociation
We can't let this memory be destroyed
Rebuild
Restore
Reclaim the truth and take the leap again
We have not forgotten
We have not forgotten
Rebuild
Restore
Reclaim the truth and take the leap again
We have not forgotten
The underground insurgent remnant
We bear this burden through the ages
Beneath the surface the war still rages on
We have not forgotten
We are the only ones
Who refuse to let go
Countless dimensions in between
Communication
Severed ties with ancient mystery
No explanation
Only the silence of the unforgiving void
Dissociation
We can't let this memory be destroyed
We have not forgotten
To recover what was abandoned
To unlock the secret of the ancients
And traverse dimensional space again
We have not forgotten
We are the only ones
Who refuse to let go
Countless dimensions in between
Communication
Severed ties with ancient mystery
No explanation
Only the silence of the unforgiving void
Dissociation
We can't let this memory be destroyed
Restore
Reclaim the truth and take the leap again
We have not forgotten
Rebuild
Restore
Reclaim the truth and take the leap again

Frontman Jason Wisdom says of this track; "Thematically, it reflects the reality of our current humanitarian situation," he continues "Existential dread pervades our existence. People have experience with real monsters in addition to facing our own mortality. These things are evident not only in metal culture, but greater culture as well. We touch upon all of this as well as the possibility of redemption and salvation from those terrors."
