To break down the song's meaning, I'll focus on the chorus, where is mentioned *Icarus who is one of the most famous tragic figures in Greek mythology, as his story highlights the dangers of hubris, or excessive pride. Although he was warned by his father not to fly too high, Icarus became overexcited and flew too close to the sun, causing his wings to melt & leading to his untimely death. Also 'Omnipotent' defined as (of a deity) having unlimited power as in god-like. This song to me is about someone so entrenched in their own ego like state it has become all consuming - like a drug, to the point where they're thoroughly convinced they are in fact an actual god.
i know that the official thing says it otherwise But i always saw it as something inspiring as someone is trying to overcome some heavy obstacles. He compares himself with icarus someone that also had to overcome obstacles that seemed impossible but he tried and failed. With Lyrics like "I am the One, Icarus i'll touch the sun" he tried to say that he will be better than icarus that hes not only gonna touch the sun he will eat the sun.
@john105091 This is how I've been interpreting the meaning as well. "Omnipotent, I am one", "Witness my omnipotence". A lot of the lines feel like a declaration towards life of grabbing the sun and making the most of yourself and your life.
