Everything & Nothing

I gotta face the facts and transcend
'Cause hope is the worst of all evils and it never ends
Nietzsche was right
All the pieces fit and the story's the same
But game over and we can say
That society's to blame and it's human nature
But the fact remains that I'm just like you
This hypocrisy of mine is climbing that incline
To find the most divine of truths...
They say peace is a beautiful thing but you're war
And a goddess in a mortal's skin
So, I'm thoroughly confused and abused in the mental
Whenever I hurt myself I desecrate your temple
I'm so sorry
I'd throw my corpse at your feet and I would eat the bread
And I would drink the wine for you to be mine
Inside my head the vision is so clear
But it's so surreal, it's just left here
What it is
Everything and nothing, just like me
Everything I want and nothing is what I get
Everything is spent and nothing is what it meant to be
Just forget
But you never really knew
Now I'm confused and abused again
I'm all black & blue for you, for me
For everyone living in this reality
For everybody caught in this systematic calamity
A FAMily tragedy with a twist but no lime or lemon
It ain't a wonderful world, that's why he killed John Lennon
And that's why I rhyme, to fit in with all the ugly
Baby drug me, love me and hug me
Then shove me and hate me, disconnect and displace me
Disgrace me, it's what I deserve for my poetry
It's what I deserve and in turn I'll be punished accordingly, hopefully
And here we go again, Nietzsche was right
I think about it everytime I lie at night
And everytime I use the word whenever I talk to myself
I recoil and think of all the trouble & toil
I'm at my boiling point but I suffer from indifference
I'm derisive of my own decisions, now listen
To the sound of a broken record ignite the primer cord
Press record and find yourself a witness to witness the swiftness
Of how I say a little prayer for me, Amen
But hope is the worst of all evils 'cause it never ends
And I'm the worst example because I still have faith
In the human capability to change its face
I'm a roach in this rat race approaching last place
The pace is too much only speed is in the head rush
Forehead flushed red, thoughts left for dead
When a man is acting only from his heart instead
It's a constant struggle beneath the rubble I look like the rest
Not depressed or stressed and not oppressed
Thank God for the ability to lie and to be believed
And thank you for being deceived
It's a testament to mankind's pre-disposition
To get what it wants without mankind's suspicion
Sometimes, but this time I just wanted more lines
'Cause I lie to miss it, I don't lie to get it
And this time, the lie, well, I don't know what it's for
If my fear is justified then I may as well use the door
And realise that Everything & Nothing are the same thing
Just like living and dying
