Owl Dance Lyrics
If you will call in me from the other side, from the other decade of my dreams.
If you will call in me from living wrong.
Stretch down my bones!
Copy in me lights!
Everything is destroyed.
Camps come home from the rites.
You’re so creative.
If you will call in me,from the other side, from the other decade of my dreams.
If you will call in me from living wrong.
I damaged all the rights.
i will take you to right...
Side!
Chop or chew.
Chop or chew.
Chop or chew.
I damaged all the rights.
I will take you to right...
Side!
That’s so exciting!
I won’t fall
Don't tackle me,
Shackle me!
Free!
Your!
Hope’s lost, so dance me
Right!
Last show.
Be, stay, stand up, jump!
Not afraid!
Owl Dance
Uncover your body, I’ll jab, I will stand for your rights.
Uncover your body, I’ll jab, I will stand for your rights.
Uncover your body, I’ll jab, I will stand for your rights.
Oooh...

Sweet sorry...
OoHoo
You were not around me in this glory night
You were not around me, Darling...
OoHoo
You were not around me, Darling...
Beside me
Again and again
You sick from the love to the sound
What you’ll do when the sound gone?
What you’ll do when the sound gone?
What you’ll do when the sound gone?
You sick from the love to the sound
What you’ll do when the sound gone?
What you'll do...?

First I'll start by defining "Owl Dance" of the Siksika Nation is a prominent social dance of the Blackfoot people, the Owl Dance is a couples dance that moves to the swaying beat of the drum & lively melodies of the singers. In the past, Owl Dances were for courting and socializing. Performed rarely these days, the Owl Dance & its songs still inspire good feelings and camaraderie. Now in reference to how it pertains to the song, I feel the song is about being free & standing up for ones rights - free from oppression, persecution, and other injustices - which is what the Owl Dance itself represented.
