Alright, so I think based on the video and lyrics this is an obvious song dedicated to her beautiful family.
It is amazing to have listened to Alanis when she was young (as I was), and now that she is mature and has a family, I am loving her even more. She seriously comes with us through the times and it is one of my most favorite things about her.
I'm now 29, married, and hopefully in the coming years will have a family of my own like her- and I promise- this song will be playing. I hope to keep the light in my childrens eyes ablaze.
