Ten Sea Birds

A hump-backed whale dreamt about me
While spinning on a wand of gravity
Ten sea birds came to meet me
My bones were scooped upon the tongue,
Words written by the elephants
Upon the ancient walls
The jawbone cracks and crumbles (little by little)
The gates reopen (little by little)
The fresh air captures (little by little)
The sharp shiver of reality
(Little by little) I curse the tools
(Little by little) That make nature so mighty
(Little by little) Yet man so small
With plastic bones and toothpick arms
With a head forged out of lock and key
A lampbug's breast dangle center stage
A baby bug sucks sweet royalty
