[Verse 1]
Everything will be clear in the dawn
Everything will be clear in the dawn
And everything will be clear in the dawn
Everything will be clear in the dawn

[Chorus]
And there's a million ways to begin
And we wish through the chase, we'll look up
And there's a million ways to fuck it all up
And I'm going up
And I'm going out
And are you in?

[Verse 2]
We fill our heads and we fill right up
And then we fill our head, we just fill it right up
And then we fill our heads, we just fill 'em right up
And we just fill our heads, oh, we just fill 'em right up

[Chorus]
There's a whole lot going on
And I guess a chance to be at one
And I saw a lot of you, my friends
So let me raise this glass to the star again

[Verse 3]
They say anything will be clear in the dawn
Yes, and everything will be clear in the dawn
And everything will be clear tomorrow
Everything will be clear tomorrow

[Chorus]
I'm going up, I'm going out
And are you in?
Yes, I'm going up, I'm going out
And are you in?

[Outro]
We fill our heads and we fill right up
And we just fill our heads, we fill them right up

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
