A strong warning of how it may seem like fitting in a group is right, and how they can seem to support you, but in truth they care less about who you are and more if you fit their ideals. And if you don't, they light the spark and watch you burn without hesitation.

To me this song finds its meaning in two different scenarios, the first one is about Terrorism (the self bombers).
"They stole my heart and took control away.. They lift you up.. give you your task.." this points to the terrorists who uplift innocents to recruit them and use them to carry out their dirty work.
"They light that spark.. you can't fight it.." they manipulate your mentality and you can't fight it cause they're so strong in pursuading and you're already in their debt.
"And when your world goes dark.. you think they'd help you out but they sit back and watch you burn." when you burn in public, you realise the pain & fear and you think they'd help but they don't care as long as their dirty purpose is served.
The lines totally fit self bombers who are manipulated in the name of God and Family, and are deprived of their beautiful life. (when you lost the life that everybody wants)
One the other, it is basically about the fake friends (I call them snakes) who pretend to help but actually embarrass you in public and betray you when you need them the most. The song is done in an exquisite soft manner, on point vocals and amazing music. I never thought Disturbed could do such magic too. Their Evolution (Deluxe) is surely my favorite album.
Having my own medical diagnosis I am no stranger to doctors and in particular the drugs. I feel like this song can actually relate to this, might be a far fetch but its my interpretation. People with whatever diagnosis are feed with drugs that are supposed to make you feel better, help you battle your diagnosis and get your life back, while in reality, we're mostly given poison that has a phone book's worth of nasty side effects that are often worse than the diagnosis was in the first place, but hey, if it works, it works and the doctors and the big pharmaceutical companies especially making billions in revenue just simply sit back and watch you burn. They'll just smile and watch you burn.
